About
Lisa
My name is Lisa Mallabar. I
have been a dog lover all of my life. My first dog, Dude, was a
Collie/Shepard Mix. He was such a wonderful dog. He lived to be 15
years old. Toward the end of his life, he had to have special care, which
I provided for him. He passed away in August 2005. Now we have a
Golden Retriever, Gracie. Recently, Gracie passed her test to become a
Therapy Dog. She is well behaved, and loves to
interact with other dogs.
Before I started this business,
many friends, and family members, commented on my positive, natural connection
with animals, and often asked me to care for their own pets while they were
away.
It dawned on me that I could make a business doing this
service. So, here I am!! Not very often do people love what they do
for a living. It took me a long time to figure it out, and I am thankful
that I finally did.
I graduated from Champlain College in 1991 with an
Associates degree in Business.
I reside in Colchester with my husband, Jim
and my three school age children. They are very supportive, and I
appreciate them very much.

About Susan
Susan is our part-time pet care
provider . Before moving back to Vermont, she was the manager of a Doggie
Daycare and Training Center in Charlottesville, Virginia. She has
excellent knowledge about the care of animals. She has the natural talent
to form an immediate bond with animals, and gains their trust quickly. I
haven't met a dog or cat that doesn't love Susan almost immediatley.
She is our main feline caregiver and overnight pet care
specialist.
Susan lives in Essex Junction with her son, and her
dog (Brownie). She spends lots of time with her sister Lisa, who just
happens to be her boss,
too!
